1 on 1 Personal Training

One-on-one coaching is ideal for you if you need a more personal approach to your training, mindset, and nutrition. You'll work with our certified personal trainers individually to assess your current situation, and together, we'll discover fast, safe, and effective ways to help you burn stubborn fat, feel more energized, and accomplish your goals.

Working one-on-one with an expert is the most effective way to build a long-term habit of fitness. It takes a consistent, customized routine to get you to the goals and health outcomes you deserve. Included with these packages are:

Small Group Training

Small group or semi-private training is ideal if you work harder and feel more motivated training with your partner/friend and want to make huge savings on personal training costs. You'll work through the individualized nutrition program we work together to create for you, and exercise alongside your workout partner to accomplish your health and fitness goals.

Small group training consists of one trainer working with a group of 2-4 clients. Keeping the group to a 4-person max allows the personal trainer to build a connection with each individual while also giving proper attention to each participants safety, form, and alignment. These packages include:

• Lifestyle analysis and planning

Online or Zoom Training

Online coaching is ideal if you prefer to train at home (or remotely), but still want all the benefits personal training has to offer such as one-to-one 'virtual' sessions, personalized and tailored nutrition, and lifestyle coaching.

Not being able to make it to the gym is no longer an excuse. Getting healthy has many pathways and at MJ Athletics were here to support with the same one-on-one person-focused coaching that can be achieved wherever you are. We assist in recommending exercise equipment at home, that fits your budget, to better develop a routine that will help you achieve the results you are looking for. These packages include:

• Exercise equipment (bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, etc.)

Nutrition Counseling

We offer nutritional support to supplement your fitness lifestyle plan, that will aid in uncovering a healthier you. Our problems may be complex, but solutions can be made simple. We have this overload of information and have no idea what to do with it.

This program uses habit-based coaching not only to get you to your goals but to sustain them. The application of basic habits is what leads us to success. We first must understand our relationship with food and why. It is only then we can further discuss how to use food as a tool to get us the results we want. These packages include:

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic experiencing is a trauma-based therapy that is founded on the notion that imbalances in our nervous system leads to dysregulation. When we become dysregulated, we may experience symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that gathers in our bodies. Over time, this dysregulation can lead to a multitude of diseases, chronic pain, and affect how we function with our loved ones, friends, and at work. Somatic therapy assists in releasing, recovering, and becoming more resilient, which will aid in living life more abundantly.

I (Michael) am currently a student in the Somatic Experiencing Professional Training Program, working to complete all requirements to fully use the Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner Credential. I am currently taking clients to coach who are interested in SE at a reduced rate.
