Dear Friend, my name is Nina. I am a certified personal trainer located in Pasadena, CA. Sports and fitness have been major influencers in my life. My first sport was soccer at the age of 8, and I started competing in track and field during middle school, earning many achievements along the way. Unfortunately, at the age of 17 I became very insecure about my body, only wearing baggy clothes to cover how skinny and unhealthy I felt. At this time I decided to do something about it and immersed myself in a new lifestyle and better way of life. Learning about the benefits of muscle building, strength training, and eating healthy entirely transformed my body. This lifestyle not only changed my body, but also had profound effects on my mental health as I gained the confidence I had always searched for. I fell in love with taking care of my body inside and out, and decided I wanted to help others do the same.
I am very passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, finding their potential, and happiness in life. My favorite thing as a Personal Trainer is to see when the impossible becomes possible, experience what your body is capable of with just enough hard work.
For me, a healthy lifestyle and training is much more than just lifting weights. It is about stretching, warming up, right progression , eating healthy, getting necessary rest and enough sleep.
